Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, owner of Marco's Pizza locations, is seeking a shift leader to guide team members, ensure top-quality product and customer service, and control costs during each shift.

You will lead staffing, maintain standards, and support local promotions while delivering great guest service and resolving issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and able to work a flexible shift.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce leadership behaviors and values.

• Delegate duties, manage shift staffing, and support production as needed.

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
