Job summary

Love's Travel Stops seeks a Restaurant Shift Leader in Indiana to help run a busy restaurant, coach team members, and ensure smooth service while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will manage operations, uphold food safety standards, and deliver excellent customer experiences, enabling a collaborative, fast-paced work environment with growth opportunities within the Love's team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts and lift items over 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain kitchen operations.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and food safety compliance.
• Assist GM with task execution, scheduling, and reporting.
• Oversee order preparation, inventory, and timely packaging.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills And Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
