Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run our kitchen and service areas in Jackson, TN. You will lead staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing orders, inventory, and reporting, while coaching teammates to meet service standards. This role offers growth and benefits with Love's Travel Stops.

Formación

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

• Able to work varied shifts and lift items over 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safe, clean kitchen and follow food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with tasks, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach team members in order preparation and packaging for timely service.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
