Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shifts and help keep daily store operations running smoothly.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with team coordination and shift execution.
• Assign daily tasks and provide guidance to team members during the shift.
• Help train and coach new and existing team members on drink preparation, customer service, food safety, and store procedures.
• Maintain high standards of beverage quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and hospitality.
• Prepare beverages, operate the register, restock supplies, clean work areas, and assist wherever needed during busy periods.
• Monitor customer flow and help maintain efficient service during peak hours.
• Handle routine customer concerns professionally and elevate more serious issues to management when needed.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and basic end-of-shift tasks.
• Monitor inventory and supplies during the shift and communicate shortages or operational issues to management.
• Ensure team members follow company policies, sanitation standards, food safety requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
• Communicate shift updates, staffing issues, and operational concerns to store management.

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, beverage, retail, or customer-service environment preferred.
• Previous shift lead, trainer, or team leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and comfortable helping direct a team during busy shifts.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, opening, and closing shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a food and beverage store.
