Job Summary

Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests.

Position

Part Time Restaurant/Banquet Server

Responsibilities
  1. Set up side station and perform assigned side (prep) work.
  2. Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
  3. Distribute menus, answer questions, and suggest menu items.
  4. Take orders, suggestively sell items, and communicate special instructions to kitchen.
  5. Serve meals, check satisfaction, and replenish as needed.
  6. Handle billing, payments, and keep the dining area clean.
  7. Attend pre-meal meetings and perform closing duties.
  8. Follow laws and policies for alcohol service.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to learn POS system and suggestively sell.
  • Maintain cleanliness and verify check accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
Certifications
  • Indiana State Liquor Permit
  • Indiana State Alcohol Awareness Certificate
Work Experience
