Job summary

Hotel Viking in Newport, Rhode Island, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a motivated Server to welcome guests, explain menus, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced dining room.

You will work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction, handle orders accurately, maintain spotless tables, and support kitchen and bar staff during busy periods. High school diploma and some serving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
