Job summary

George's Restaurant & Bar in Waco, TX seeks a competent Hostess for breakfast and lunch (7 am–3 pm) to be the face of the restaurant. You will ensure excellent guest experiences, seat guests, and provide accurate wait times with a friendly, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
• Guiding guests to their table
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staffAnswering phones and providing customer service over the phone
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
