Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Delray Beach, FL is recruiting a Culinary Server to greet residents and guests, take orders, and serve meals in a timely, courteous manner at our warm community. You will use a POS or similar system to enter menu selections and ensure accurate room service delivery.

This role supports a teamwork-driven environment, with background screening required by Florida law as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to take orders accurately and use POS systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Accurately take resident and guest orders, entering menu selections into a point-of-sale system.
• Serve meals and beverages in a prompt and professional manner.
• Fill room service menu orders and expedite delivery and ensure all room service trays are retrieved at conclusion of dining time.
• Clear tables during and after residents and guests have concluded dining.
• Arrange table settings appropriately and efficiently.
• Stock pantry areas with adequate supplies, complete assigned side jobs and perform thorough cleaning of the culinary venues.
