As a Restaurant Server, you will collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and elevate guest satisfaction. In this role, you are entrusted with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • You shall greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly.
  • We expect you to take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, addressing any questions or special requests they may have.
  • You will serve meals and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail in presentation.
  • We require that you maintain a clean and organized dining area by clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests promptly.
  • You will process guest payments smoothly, accurately handling cash, credit cards, and voucher transactions.
  • We expect you to collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service and address any operational issues quickly.
  • You shall provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials, enhancing the dining experience with expert suggestions.
  • We anticipate that you manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritizing duties to accommodate varying levels of customer demand throughout your shift.

Requirements

  • You must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure each guest feels valued and welcomed.
  • We require you to have the ability to memorize menu items and communicate them effectively to guests, including any specials or promotions.
  • You should be able to efficiently manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
  • We need you to accurately handle payment transactions and process cash or card payments using our point-of-sale system.
  • Your role involves promptly addressing guest inquiries or concerns with a solution-oriented approach.
  • You will assist in setting up tables by arranging silverware, glassware, and other dining materials as per restaurant standards.
  • It is essential that you collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery timings for optimal guest experience.
  • We expect you to adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in your work area.
