Job summary

The Wendy's Company in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager by coaching the team and creating a welcoming work environment. You will schedule staff, monitor labor and costs, and ensure adherence to company policies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will lead, train, and develop crew and shift leaders, ensure health and safety compliance, and work with the GM/DM to meet restaurant objectives in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Profits: manage labor costs, review budget and P&L, promote customer satisfaction, monitor costs and waste, communicate issues to GM/DM, support sales and profit plan, monitor food costs.
• Quality: monitor product quality and provide feedback to crew.
• Service: train crew to respond to customer needs and improve service times, solicit feedback from customers.
• Cleanliness: train crew to maintain cleanliness, follow cleaning plan, correct deficiencies.
• Training: train crew in new products, train new managers, use orientation processes and cross-train for coverage.
• Controls: follow flowcharts, monitor inventory, complete physical inventory, manage weekly deliveries, ensure security of cash/product/equipment, execute standards, manage shifts to Q.S.C. level of 80%+.
• Policies and Procedures: follow operations manual, maintain safe conditions, cash control, report accidents, resolve health inspections procedures, use shift-management checklists.
• Administration: perform duties, write crew schedules, ensure benefits per company standards.
• Maintenance: follow preventative maintenance and train crew to maintain equipment.
