Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building in fast-paced food service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Cash handling, POS systems, and basic reporting experience.
• Knowledge of food safety standards; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient shift performance.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.
• Train and onboard new team members to uphold Newtown Bagel Co standards.
