Maggiano's Little Italy in Skokie, IL, is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a memorable guest experience in our scratch-made Italian-American, family-style dining environment.

You will learn all aspects of the operation, coach teammates, and support hiring, training, and scheduling, with opportunities to grow into a Restaurant Manager role as your talent and drive expand.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
• Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and move around the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you are the frontline leader who keeps the restaurant running smoothly — supporting the management team, energizing Teammates, and ensuring every Guest has a memorable experience. You'll learn all aspects of the operation while building the skills to advance into larger leadership roles. This is where management careers begin at Maggiano's. • Able to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands
• Able to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
