About the role
The Restaurant Manager supports the Director of Restaurants by overseeing restaurant operations to ensure that the service and food meet customer expectations. This is a client facing position that works closely with the culinary team and directs the service staff to deliver an exciting and memorable guest experience in Smokehouse Social. This role will be very involved with staff selection and spearheading training initiatives that support the resort’s service culture, all the while fine tuning their business acumen in steering the financial performance of the restaurant.

Candidate must have at least 2 years previous experience and be flexible with availability to work any shifts. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, as this position requires continuous interaction with hotel guests and staff.
Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including but not limited to assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations, health department regulations, and TIPS certification is helpful. Experience with Excel.
