Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee Front of House and Back of House operations, ensuring Legendary Food and Legendary Service at all times. The role involves managing hourly staff, scheduling, and driving guest satisfaction in a high-volume restaurant.

The manager will lead training programs, monitor food production, and enforce safety and security measures while maintaining a positive work environment and strong cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front of House and Back of House operations to ensure Legendary Food and Legendary Service.
• Manage hourly employees, including performance evaluations, coaching and discipline.
• Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hires for hourly staff.
• Direct staffing schedules and assign tasks before, during, and after open hours.
• Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Provide and schedule Front of House and Back of House training.
• Supervise production and preparation of food following established recipes and procedures.
• Enforce safety and security measures for employees and guests.
• Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs via weekly inventory.
• Uphold safe food handling procedures and create a safe, fun work environment.

As a Restaurant Manager, Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Manage hourly employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching and discipline
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or making recommendation to hire hourly employees
• Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
• Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
• Providing, directing, and scheduling Front of House and Back of House training
• Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Conducting formal line Taste & Temps
• Enforcing appropriate security measures at the restaurant so that the safety of our employees and guests are maintained at all times
• Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals
