Job summary

McDonald’s is hiring a Maintenance Person at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The role focuses on keeping interior and exterior areas clean and ensuring restaurant equipment functions properly.

The franchisee will be the employer, with McDonald’s USA not involved in employment decisions. The Maintenance Person will support management and receive tools and training needed to succeed, including uniforms and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment.
• The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
