Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host to create a welcoming first impression for every guest.

You will greet patrons, seat guests promptly, and support smooth front‑of‑house operations to set a high standard of service. In this union role, you will work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy casino environment, coordinating with servers, answering questions, and maintaining an organized entrance area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting/welcoming and seating guests.
• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Greeting/welcoming and seating guests.


• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.


• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.


• Assisting wait/bar staff.


• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.


• Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.


• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.


• Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.


• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.


• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.


• Ability to bend, stoop and reach, while assisting guests.


• Use of stairs and elevators.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.


• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.


• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
