Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a General Manager for the Cedartown, GA restaurant to lead a high‑performing team, uphold service standards, and drive profitability. You will oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and daily operations, ensuring the guest experience meets Zaxby’s standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible, multi‑shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check and motor vehicle report required.
• 3–5 years of management experience required.
• Restaurant management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete training requirements including GM Development Plan, Operations Excellence Capstone, Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification.
• Deliver great guest experiences and maintain service standards.
• Maintain staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers.
• Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development while holding team members accountable.
• Create a positive culture and healthy team morale; lead by example.
• Drive sales and manage costs to protect profitability.
• Build community relationships to increase sales.
• Ensure compliance with Zaxby’s guidelines, policies, and laws.
• Conduct crew performance reviews; support manager reviews.
• Review metrics daily and implement actions to improve profitability and guest experience.
• Handle guest and team member complaints timely and respectfully.
