Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group seeks a General Manager for Marco’s Pizza in Grove City, OH. You will lead a team to deliver top quality food and exceptional guest service while controlling costs and driving sales growth. Relocation may be required to support our expanding network.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, payroll, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will oversee inventory, KPI tracking, and store operations to sustain world‑class performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience.
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays.

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service.
• Build sales and control costs for the restaurant.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with assistant manager and shift leads.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling and payroll.

• Oversee store performance with weekly KPIs and action plans.

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant. People

What you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
