Job summary

Shake Shack Enterprises, LLC is seeking a seasoned Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume team with a focus on hospitality and profitability. The role emphasizes coaching, operations oversight, and ensuring compliance with health codes while delivering exceptional guest experiences across the restaurant location.

The GM will manage budgets, payroll, scheduling, and inventory, drive sales, and promote the Shake Shack brand in the local community through events and word-of-mouth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of personnel management, food planning and purchase, sanitation and health codes, and security.
• Ability to learn and train others on Shack operations.
• Demonstrated hospitality focus and ability to motivate team members.
• Strong leadership with coaching mindset and pursuit of excellence.
• Financial understanding with P&L responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement company policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local and state health and safety code compliance.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations
• Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
• Knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
• Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
• Food handler certification, preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Pay Range - $71,801.60 - $92,393.60
