Job summary

Chuck E. Cheese is seeking a General Manager to set the tone for the restaurant, drive guest satisfaction, and lead a motivated team. You’ll oversee daily operations, ensure safety standards, and deliver strong performance while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• College degree is preferred.
• Minimum of four years experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for full execution of running quality shifts and driving sales/performance OR proven track record as a CEC Manager or Senior Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Make daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling and support, uphold product quality and cleanliness.
• Build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, developing and communicating Company and Guest expectations to the team.
• Coach, teach and motivate team to maintain high quality Guest service and safety.
• Exercise cost control, financial accounting, inventory levels and labor management.

Commission Detail

Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Non-Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

This position is eligible for a $4,000 signing and retention bonus and will be paid out in accordance of CEC's guidelines, minus any state and federal taxes as required by law.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification and serving alcohol)
• College degree is preferred
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for full execution of running quality shifts and driving sales/performance for a restaurant OR proven track record as a CEC Manager or Senior Assistant Manager

Essential Job Functions and Work Environment

• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift
• In addition to the essential job responsibilities stated above, the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and Team members, are essential functions of the job.
• The work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise, as well as exposure to non-weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
