Job summary

The Brown Hotel in Louisville is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee the Lobby Bar and Grill and room service operations. You will lead the F&B team, manage budgets, streamline processes, and uphold brand standards to deliver exceptional service and efficiencies across the department.

You will inspire a culture of hospitality, develop staff, and drive guest satisfaction through operational excellence, while maintaining safety and quality across all dining services.

Restaurant General Manager

As theRestaurant General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Lobby Bar and Grill and room service operations, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and efficiency. You’ll lead and support the F&B team, manage budgets, streamline processes, and uphold brand standards. Your leadership will drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the driving force behind our hotel's dining services, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Your daily tasks will include managing food and beverage staff, coordinating daily operations, and overseeing budgets and inventory.
• You will report to the Director of Food & Beverage or General Manager.
• A career as a food and beverage operations manager can lead to opportunities in various management roles within the hospitality industry, such as director of food and beverage, general manager, or even a corporate-level position.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A combination of education and experience
