Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group seeks a General Manager for Marco's Pizza to lead and develop staff, ensure top product quality and customer service, and drive sales while controlling costs. You will train employees, manage scheduling, payroll, benefits, and performance reviews, and coordinate leadership meetings.

This role requires strong leadership, restaurant experience, and the ability to manage up to 20 team members, with a substantial weekly hours commitment including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience, required.
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service.
• Build sales and control costs for the restaurant.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Ensure standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Oversee inventory and security procedures for deposits and safe.

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

What You Will Bring To The Role

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
