Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, the largest Marco’s Pizza franchise owner in the US, is hiring a General Manager to lead a busy Marco’s Pizza store. You will develop people, ensure outstanding product quality, and deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales and controlling costs.

The role requires hands-on leadership of up to 20 team members, weekend availability, and a focus on culture, training, and store KPIs. We offer bonuses, health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience.
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service.
• Build sales and control costs for the restaurant.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and action plans to achieve goals.
• Ensure inventory par levels and an ordering system are in place.
• Maintain store exterior and ensure security procedures for deposits.

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

What You Will Bring To The Role

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
