Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Restaurant Facilities Crew Member to keep Alpine F&B locations clean and snow-free according to current standards. You will use chemicals, janitorial supplies, and snow equipment to maintain public and employee areas.

This seasonal role requires reliability, a congenial appearance, and the ability to perform duties with or without accommodation. Hourly pay is $18, applicants must be 21+, have a valid US driver's license, and basic computer skills; High School

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe facilities inside and out.
• Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums and snow blowers.
• Clear all deck snow and ensure safe entrances.
• Keep public areas clean including decks, dining rooms, lobby and restrooms.
• Keep employee areas clean: kitchens, wait stations, offices, locker rooms and docks.
• Use chemicals and snow equipment safely and responsibly.
• Demonstrate reliability to supervisor and complete duties independently.
• Present self in a neat, congenial manner.
• Follow Winter Park policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily duties with other crew leaders.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Facilities Crew Member ensures that Alpine F&B locations are cleaned and clear of snow according to current set standards. This employee is responsible for the proper use of chemicals, janitorial supplies, and snow removal equipment to keep public and employee facilities clean and orderly. Public areas will include outside decks, dining rooms, lobby areas, lounge areas, coffee shops, restrooms, and other areas as assigned by the Unit Supervisor. Employee areas include kitchen areas, wait stations, offices, chemical rooms, locker rooms, employee restrooms, and dock/warehouse areas. The Custodian will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Wage

Hourly pay: $18

Essential Duties

• Maintains clean, safe, and secure facilities - both inside and out
• Maintains janitorial equipment, i.e. vacuums and snow blowers
• Responsible for all deck snow removal and safe entrances
• Keeps public areas clean and orderly, including: outside decks, dining rooms, lobby areas, lounge areas, coffee shops, restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Keeps employee areas clean: kitchen areas, wait stations, offices, chemical rooms, locker rooms, employee rooms, and dock/warehouse areas.
• Uses chemicals and snow equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Must prove reliability to immediate supervisor
• Responsible for completing the majority of their duties without assistance
• Must present self in a congenial and neat manner
• Consistently follows WPR policies and procedures
• Coordinates daily duties with other crew leaders

Required Qualifications

• Valid US Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record required
• Must be 21 years of age
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality required

Education

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Minimum one (1) season experience with janitorial work or equivalent desirable
