IHOP 1939 Irving is seeking a full-time Restaurant Crew Leader to guide daily operations and deliver a friendly dining experience. You will supervise shifts, assign duties, train new teammates, and ensure quality service and safety standards are met.

You’ll monitor guest satisfaction, manage cash receipts, deposits, and store paperwork, and reinforce company policies on portion control and conduct. Strong English, teamwork, and calm under pressure are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.

• Inform and educate employees about new menu items, specials, and promotional material.
• Lead orientation and training for new employees and refresher sessions for current staff.
• Supervise employee performance and conduct, ensuring adherence to policies and outstanding guest service.
• Observe guest reactions to food and service to drive continuous improvement.
• Handle administrative tasks such as cash receipts, store receipts, and deposits.
• Enforce company policies including check cashing and portion control to maintain security and profitability.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in preparing all personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet the needs of the business. By assigning employee duties and responsibilities and encouraging teamwork, you will contribute to creating a harmonious and efficient work environment. Additionally, you will inform and educate our employees about new menu items, specials, and promotional materials, ensuring their complete understanding of food preparation and service.

Your excellent leadership skills will shine as you assist in conducting orientation and training for new employees, as well as providing refresher training to current employees when needed. Supervising employee performance and conduct will also be a part of your responsibilities, ensuring that our crew members adhere to company policies and deliver outstanding service to our guests. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you observe guest reactions to the quality of food and service, allowing us to continuously improve and exceed customer expectations. In addition, you will be responsible for administrative procedures such as cash receipts and store receipts. You will reconcile cash receipts and store bank funds, making daily deposits and submitting deposit slips to the Accounting Office. By enforcing company policies, including check cashing and portion control, you will contribute to maintaining efficiency, security, and profitability within the restaurant.
