Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Cook to oversee stations including Food Production, Grill and Fryer, and to prepare orders to our quality standards. You’ll work with a fun, fast-paced team, handle irregular hours, weekends and holidays, and enjoy a casual uniform and friendly surroundings.

This role requires reliability, good communication, and the willingness to learn across stations; cross-training helps keep shifts engaging and ensures guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible in all situations based on business need.
• Effective communication, basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet product quality standards.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Cook on the grill.
• Operate the fry station.
• Dress items to order.
• Package all menu items and check product quality and consistency.
• Clean including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops and sanitizing food areas.
