Job summary

IHOP is seeking an experienced Restaurant Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen and work with a friendly team. You will learn policies, cooking procedures, and the skills needed to deliver the high-quality food and dining experience our guests expect.

IHOP offers a structured training program and opportunities for growth, with pay starting at $13/hour and the potential to earn up to $19/hour based on experience, plus benefits after eligibility and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and apply galley terminology and procedures.
• Reading skills to complete online and on-the-job training.
• Ability to memorize recipes and plating techniques.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent and consistent preparation and cooking of all menu items following operating policies, procedures, and food health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and plate food according to Company recipes.
• Set up, clean, and sanitize the workstation before, during, and after the shift.
• Verify the stock of all required ingredients and supplies.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning lists.
