Chedraui USA is searching for a dedicated Restaurant Clerk to join our El Super Store Operations Team. The role focuses on ensuring an excellent customer service experience, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant area. Ideal candidates should have strong reading comprehension skills and the ability to lift food items as needed.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricingcodes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations tocustomers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

The Restaurant Clerk position is one of the key contact points for our customers service experience and will Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant.

Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
