Job summary

El Super #51 in San Diego, CA is hiring a Restaurant Clerk to provide excellent customer service and help with grilled and hot food preparation. Starting rate is $17.75 per hour, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

You’ll lift up to 60 pounds, work with basic PC/Outlook tools, and participate in a dynamic team focused on serving the community and delivering value through fresh products and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Able to read and comprehend instructions and labels.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information to customers and colleagues.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items.
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification required.
