Job summary

El Super is hiring a Restaurant Clerk at Store #2 in Panorama City, CA. The role supports customer service, food prep, and general store duties, with a focus on maintaining a clean, inviting dining area and efficient service. Candidates ages 16-17 are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant.
• Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
