Job summary

El Super is hiring a Restaurant Clerk for #53 Mesa, AZ to support the store operations team. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with opportunities to assist in grilled and hot food preparations and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

You will interact with customers daily, read product labels, and follow standards for safe food handling and presentation. Must be able to work nights/weekends and lift up to 60 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to customers and co‑workers.
• Follow simple written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items per company standards.
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant area.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
