Job summary

Southland Casino Hotel in West Memphis, Arkansas is seeking a full-time Restaurant Cashier to join our team. Provide excellent guest service and work with dining room, service, and kitchen teams to facilitate all transactions and keep track of orders.

This tipped position pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Previous cash handling experience and strong math skills are preferred.

• Basic math skills; ability to count change and balance bank.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen teams to track orders, payments, and receipts.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments.
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; replenish receipt paper and stationery.
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant orders using the venue's primary POS system.

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Providing excellent guest service is at the forefront of what we do. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will collaborate with team members to facilitate all transactions and keep track of orders.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$15.00 - $16.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount of if needed
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue's primary point of sale system
