Job summary

Taco John's of Iowa is seeking an Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager and run the restaurant in their absence. The role may involve traveling to other locations and requires reliable transportation.

Starting pay is based on experience with a performance bonus up to $300 per month; benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation, discounted meals and free uniforms. We value work-life balance and family time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• QSR experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and build a great team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations with GM when present.
• Assist in hiring and training a strong team.
• Manage front and back of house operations.
• Ensure food quality and safety standards.
• Control food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
• Guarantee excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and out.
