Job summary

Noodles & Company is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead and coach our restaurant teams, delivering great food and welcoming guest experiences. You’ll oversee daily operations, scheduling, and staff development, ensuring food safety and quality while driving a positive, accountable environment.

With at least one year of leadership experience, you’ll manage a fast-paced team, recruit and train staff, and contribute to local marketing and performance improvements.

What You Bring To The Table

• Bringing a minimum of one year of management or leadership experience (required).
• Management experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel operations, with restaurant management experience (preferred).
• Leading a high-performing team alongside the General Manager to deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced, hands‑on restaurant environment.
• Creating exceptional guest experiences while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for your team.
• Demonstrating conflict‑resolution skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing restaurant team members and shift managers.
• Setting clear expectations, creating accountability, and supporting team member growth through ongoing coaching, development, and recognition.
• Following operational, inventory, and food safety procedures to maintain consistent restaurant standards.
• Assisting with scheduling, labor management, expense control, and local restaurant marketing efforts.
• Leading a culture of food safety that meets company standards for food quality, safety practices, and cleanliness.
• Working 45 hours per week on a variable schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays. (Current scheduling expectations include 1 opening shift, 2 mid shifts (11am-8pm), 1 closing shift, and 1 additional shift based on restaurant needs. These expectations may change depending on business needs.)
• Meeting the physical requirements of the role, which may include, but are not limited to, standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Obtaining and maintaining any required food‑safety licenses or certifications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Occasional driving is required to support restaurant needs, including assisting at another restaurant, attending meetings or training at another location, picking up or delivering products, and delivering catering or guest orders. A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
