Job summary

Noodles & Company is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Prairie Village, KS to lead and coach our restaurant teams in delivering great food and welcoming guest experiences. You will oversee daily operations, drive teamwork, and model exceptional guest service while maintaining food safety and labor standards.

The role requires at least one year of management experience, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to recruit, train, and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of management or leadership experience.
• Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel management (preferred).
• Leading a high‑performing team to deliver operational excellence.
• Providing an exceptional guest experience and fostering a welcoming environment.
• Demonstrating conflict‑resolution skills and strong verbal/written communication.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing restaurant team members and shift managers.
• Scheduling, labor management, expense control, and local restaurant marketing support.
• Leading with food safety and maintaining company standards for quality and cleanliness.
• Must be able to meet scheduling needs including openings, mid shifts, and weekends/holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license; may require driving.
• Obtaining and maintaining food-safety licenses or certifications as required.

What You Bring To The Table

• Bringing a minimum of one year of management or leadership experience (required).

• Working 45 hours per week on a variable schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays. (Current scheduling expectations include 1 opening shift, 2 mid shifts (11am-8pm), 1 closing shift, and 1 additional shift based on restaurant needs. These expectations may change depending on business needs.)
• Meeting the physical requirements of the role, which may include, but is not limited to, standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Obtaining and maintaining any required food-safety licenses or certifications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, as occasional driving may be necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
