Job summary

Community Services Project, Inc. is seeking a reliable janitor/housekeeper to maintain a Kentucky rest area. The role offers both full-time and part-time shifts with a laid-back environment and opportunities to work with others.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining rest areas, lobbies, restrooms, and exterior areas, plus stocking supplies and ensuring safety. Shifts run from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with eligibility for background checks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety precautions.
• The employee must be able to communicate with co-workers and others in a professional and courteous manner.
• Employees spend part of the workday standing and walking on concrete and similar hard surfaces.
• Two-handed work, opening/closing doors, pushing/pulling equipment, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending areas, parking areas and ramps.
• Sweep/mop floors, wash windows and glass doors, clean restrooms, urinals, sinks and mirrors.
• Stock toilet paper and soap; keep sidewalks and parking lots free of litter; empty trash containers.
