GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Response Security Officer to join our Nelsonville team. The role adapts to daily shifts, including patrols, customer service, and incident response, with a focus on safety and proactive protection of people and property.

This part-time position offers weekend coverage (Saturday-Sunday 1st shift and Tuesday 2nd shift), a competitive $18.50 per hour, and a benefits package. Uniforms are provided; training and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass extensive screening process.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.

As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

• Site Location: Nelsonville, Ohio
• Set schedule: Part-time, Saturday through Sunday, 1st Shift, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday, 2nd Shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21+ years of Age
• Must have Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
