GardaWorld Security is seeking a motivated Response Security Officer to join our Security Services team in Belvidere and Rockford, IL. The role involves adapting to diverse missions, from customer service to patrols and surveillance, with a focus on agility and precision.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and IL PERC required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong problem solving and quick thinking.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Walk, stand, sit or climb stairs for long periods.
• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Responsibilities For Response Security Guard

• Must be able to walk, stand, sit or climb stairs for long periods of time.

Qualifications For Response Security Guard

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have a valid IL PERC
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
