Job summary

Ellys Respite Care is seeking a caring Respite Provider to support children and adults with disabilities in their home environment. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meals, light housekeeping, and providing companionship to help improve quality of life.

The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable, with first aid and CPR certification and ability to follow health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Respite Provider, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred.
• First aid and CPR-certified.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
• Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical.

We are seeking Respite Providers to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities may include assisting with hygiene needs, providing meals and snacks in the client's home and cleaning up after the client while in your care. Consumers may need help with homework if in school, reaching goals through physical outdoor play and activities. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
