You will respond to emergencies and manage ventilated patients on a rotating schedule. The position requires an active license after submission, BLS, RRT, ACLS certifications, and a 13-week contract with day shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Shift:

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Floating Requirements:Work assignments in the respiratory unit are paired with step-down and/or floor assignments.Floor assignments consist of 3-4 floors.

Unit Details:Provides direct patient care and respiratory care procedures throughout the facility; specially trained staff perform hyperbaric medicine procedures.Specially trained staff perform pulmonary function testing, methacholine challenges, hyperbaric medicine, NICU care, PICU care and asthma education.Responds to Code Blue and Rapid Response alerts.On average, responsible for 8 ventilated patients in a unit.On average, performs 2-3 intrahospital transports per shift to CT, MRI and Specials.Equipment includes Servo-i ventilators, V60 BiPAP and i-STAT for ABG analysis.

Shift & Scheduling:No call.Every other weekend.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
