Job summary

Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, NE is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapy Technician to join our rural Critical Access Hospital team. You will perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostics, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied staff to deliver patient-centered care.

Graduation from an accredited RT program and Nebraska licensure are required, along with strong communication and critical thinking skills.

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current Nebraska Respiratory Therapy license
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Program accreditation by JRC Respiratory Therapy Education with AMA involvement

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic testing as prescribed by physicians

• Ensure accurate patient documentation and medical records
