Job summary

The ideal candidate possesses an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC certification (CRT or RRT), and 1–2 years of hospital experience across age groups, including neonates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• CR T or RRT NBRC certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical or hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.
• Experience caring for neonates, pediatrics, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as needed.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as lung capacity and blood gas analysis.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy and equipment use.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document plans and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Stay updated with advances in respiratory therapy practices and technologies.
