Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapy support role to perform equipment processes and assist clinical staff during daily operations.

You will consult with the shift coordinator or charge therapist for guidance, complete other shift duties as assigned, and contribute to patient care excellence. Actively pursuing a Respiratory Therapy degree is preferred; BLS certification is required and salary reflects differential for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Respiratory Therapy at an accredited program (preferred).
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) training prior to providing patient care.
• Current BLS certification required and maintained during employment.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment processes.
