Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead respiratory care in our inpatient rehab setting. You will supervise breathing treatments, assess patients, and develop care plans that advance recovery and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional growth within a nationwide rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
