Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead and supervise respiratory care services, guiding patient assessments and therapy plans while ensuring high-quality care in a hospital/rehabilitation setting.

The role requires licensure in respiratory therapy and CPR, with ACLS preferred. Prior supervisory experience and at least two years in hospital respiratory therapy are highly valued as the team delivers compassionate care and contributes to patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas and breathing therapy modalities.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments; lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans; address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the treatment journey.
