Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead patient care and the respiratory team within our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will supervise breathing treatments, guide assessments, create care plans, and address patient needs to support recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in respiratory therapy.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
