Job summary

Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, IN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to deliver respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting, with a pediatric focus. The role features 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, and on-site training is provided.

The team emphasizes comprehensive resident care and timely response to medical needs. Ideal candidates have CPR/BLS and licensure as RRT/CRT/RCP/RN or LPN, with on-site training available.

Qualifications

• Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN.
• Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Basic life support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer and documentation of respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record vital signs including oxygen saturation and heart rate.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide resident care.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed.

Job description

Pay Range: $32/hr - $52/hr (ranges based on respiratory or nursing license, experience, and shift)

Shifts: 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am

**Must be able to work every other weekend**

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on pediatrics. This position will be at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, IN.

Previous ventilator and Tracheostomy experience is a plus, but NOT required. We are happy to train you on site!

Responsibilities
