CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio, TX seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide care under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary needs. Responsibilities include equipment setup, supply management, and participation in ongoing education.

The position is PRN/Per Diem with on-site duties and no required licenses; 1–3 years of experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable. Hospital setting experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Cleans and sets-up Respiratory Care equipment on a daily basis and after being used for patient care.
• Monitors supplies and forms in Cardiopulmonary Department as needed.
• Ensures all Respiratory Care areas throughout the facility are properly stocked with supplies and equipment, at all times.
• Participates in educational activities to further his/her knowledge of Respiratory Care needs.
• Assist in coverage for EKG as needed.
