Qualifications

• Two years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Licensed in Mississippi as a Respiratory Care Practitioner; CRT certification.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scheduling, training, and performance of staff in the Adult Hospital respiratory service.
• Consult with physicians to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment; administer gases and meds; manage airway clearance.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and educate patients and families on equipment use and safety.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and compliance with safety and infection control standards.
