Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational school in Respiratory Care required.
• Requires NM respiratory care training permit.
• Must be CRTT eligible or currently enrolled in accredited respiratory program.
• BLS Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures oxygen administration to patients and implements oxygen therapy protocol.
• Administers routine respiratory care including nebulization, Chest PT, IPPB.
• Performs diagnostic procedures such as EKG, bedside spirometry, nocturnal oximetry, ABGs.
• Assists in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
